Maintain Class

Maintain Class was created in 2011 for RAW Residency in San Francisco. It explores the interaction between woman as they mold and identify themselves in the world. It plays with personalities and how these can change, shift, and react in verious situations. It is a silent competition within the group and within the individual to mold and present their identies. It resembles an abstract coming of age story with a dreamy like atmospher and lots of newspaper.

Dancers and collaborators are Emily Jones, Lydia Sakolsky-Basquill, and Sarah Lyman. Maintain Class is an evening length piece running 40- 45 min in length.
