Bells and Whistles was commissioned in 2012 as a solo work created for the San Francisco Summer Dance Series. Bells and Whistles explores the weight of secrets. It follows one girl's journey through a process of transformation as she bears, reveals, and sheds her secrets. Inspired by the lizard that can shed its skin and become a new. Performed in the summer of 2012 at Z Space Theater, Bells and Whistles was also performed as a guest performance at the Garage Theater. The solo spans 40+ min with no intermission.
